I have worked a lot with parents that have been separated from their children and have experience of working with children that have been separated from their parents and also reunited families.
I am knowledgeable in substance misuse and the complex way that this can become a part of people’s lives and have experience of the effects that this can have on individuals and their families.
My own understanding of recovery, be it emotional or otherwise, is that when space is created for someone to be able to feel heard and they will come to a place of self-understanding and discovery and will find a way forward for themselves.
I hope to inspire client autonomy in sessions and assist you with your options and choices.
I am trained in Secular and Christian counselling, and have experience with Mental health, Emotional conflict, physical illness and dealing with compulsive behaviors and sex addiction.
I have a personal interest in complex family dynamics and the unseen relationships that can occur and influence behaviour.
